Well, today began like any other day. I mean, who would've predicted that a simple trip to grab the mail would transform my personal nightmare? I was just finishing up my morning coffee when I realized I bolted myself away with the keys still inside. Inside! You simply couldn't imagine the frustration that overwhelmed me like a tidal flood.
I tried every trick I could, from jiggling the lock to wrenching it open. Nothing worked!
The sun was getting hotter, and my phone juice was slowly dying. To top it all off, I was starting to feel silly as neighbors began to watch.
Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, a kind neighbor pointed out calling a locksmith. Let me tell you, that conversation was the most pricey one I've ever taken. The locksmith showed up and swiftly got my door open.
Lesson learned? Maybe. But mostly, all I feel is relief.

A nagging voice in my head is screaming/I'm filled with frustration/It feels like a punch to the gut. What makes it even worse? It's freezing cold/a scorching summer day.
